Horsetail Fall - Disappointment

Today, February 19, 2016 was supposed to be the best day to shoot the Horsetail Fall in Yosemite National Park. My hubby and I got down to the river about 1/2 hr. before the moment of truth. (Way too late! Won't do that again.) There were hundreds of photographers lining the shore of the Merced River. Cars parked all along the road for several miles! I guess I wasn't the only one following the light this evening. Well, the sky clouded over and with great disappointment, each photographer in turn, packed their bags and chairs, cameras and lens and headed out. I guess I will try again tomorrow night.

Yosemite is a beautiful place, I would recommend getting off the beaten path and finding something unique to shoot. All those people made the goal a bit daunting for sure. Here are few shots to fill the void.
